The Dunedin Street Art Festival, couldn't think of a better festival to start our adventure with Street Prints. It was cold, it was raining but it didn't stop anyone from getting out and about and enjoying the festivities. Met Sean Duffell and Mica Still in the heart of the event keeping busy on a piece and interacting with the public was awesome. Watching ordinary people leaving there own mark on the parking lot with chalk and seeing there excitement was fun to watch. But watching Phlegm, a UK street artist at work, bloody fantastic. Would definitely recommend you check it out for yourselves as its an annual event.
Walking along the streets of Dunedin and stumbled across this piece by Thom Thom on Vogel Street
Sean Duffell and Mica Still in the heart of the festival hard at work
This massive piece was done by Pixel Pancho located on Princess Street, Dunedin. Looking at Jah you can get a sense of the sheer scale of the beast.
We were priviledged enough to watch the anonymous Phlegm hard at work. Not the photogenic type but the talent speaks for itself. So many facets to his characters and such a powerful whimsical message carried by each piece.
